Semi Submerged Screen

Semi Submerged Screen

The semi submerged screen is capable of high flow rates and is suitable for municipal and industrial applications.
It is best suited for filtering large volumes of water with very low suspended solids.
Water to be filtered penetrating from the outside, along the radius in the drum, partly submerged.
It has a horizontal rotary screen drum with one closed end and the other open end.
The closed end rests on a central driven axis while the open end rests on two wheels above water level.
The exit of the filtered water, by stainless steel panels, is axially.
During the drum rotation the impurities that the filter panels hold, are evacuated by the action of water sprout by the washing ramp.
The washing water containing the impurity, will be piped through the hopper and a discharging pipe to the outside.
The grid has a protective top cover, a wash system fed by a high pressure pump to keep the membrane clean and an internal trough to discharge the filtered solids along with the wash water.
